Talladega Nights is overrated and riddled with unfunny cliches. Anchorman is brilliant, creative, and riddled with funny cliches.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. Anchorman relies too heavily on awkwardness, that's its downfall. It has a lot of pretty good moments, but at the core it's just Ferrell being awkward. Talladega Nights has a broader variety of comedy and has Reilly to balance it out. Neither is a great movie, or even a great comedy, but Anchorman is just too much of a one trick pony to be the better movie.

In any case, both are fine, but Step Brothers is where it's at. Clearly.

God damn, those are both good. But Anchorman is amazingly quotable. It's really a shame the sequel sucked so bad.
