Reckon it'd be hard to find something decent for $999 that'll last.Plus once you've spent $2000+ on cage,seat etc,you'll need a lot of VB to cry into when it shits itself and you realise you've wasted close to 4k.Fun yes,affordable,not really.The 2K cup in NZ is a lot more attractive.

You should see some of the utter junk that people manage to keep (more or less) running through a race. :lol: Keep in mind that, for some teams, the challenge of keeping a totally-unfit-for-racing car running is the whole idea. Well, that and drinking beer between the Sat and Sun halves of the race. :D

Canberra is 3 hours of freeway from Sydney.
A lot further from Melbourne, and crazy distance from Brisbane!

I know Sydney people who do day trips to Wakefield.

Canberra has an airport too, so it really depends on how hard it is to get from your house to an airport.
