This is "Max Cavalera" why not. He's only two days old, but in about eight weeks when I get him (he's arriving by plane) we're going to revolutionize dobermetal :hard:

The best bit is I think I'm going to be able to surprise the missus with him when she gets back from a week long work trip. It's not a total surprise because she knows I'm looking for a dog (you can't just spring a dobermann on someone without at least floating the idea to them first), she just doesn't know that I've been successful. She thinks it'll be November before we even have a look in :D

A proper doberman breeder interstate - none of the local ones (although there aren't many) were planning a litter in the near future. Apparently getting put on a plane is no big deal for these little guys, so looking forward to seeing him in September :)

Well, he arrives on a flight from Melbourne next Wednesday - that's only 5 days now!!

You mean Kane, the one I dress up in Williams F1 gear? Like all dogs, he was a good dog. He died about six years ago now, and my parents' new dog is Tyson - also a doberman.

Anyway, today I think I saw a doberman in the same way that other people see them. I dropped in on mum and dad and Tyson was there and, having spent a week with the the puppy, he looked HUGE!! I couldn't get over it. He looked bigger than I'd ever seen any dog look before.

Please don't be one of those leave your dog alone all day people. With your work, I'd be really cautious about a dog unless you're taking on a roommate to look after it. Dogs are social animals, they go bonkers if they get left alone too much. Please don't be that guy.
