Happened so that I had to fiddle with UV ROMs.

First it seemed a hopeless situation without DIL-socket options.
But then, flash from back and I found EW-704 from Sunshine.
After some backup diggings I even found its software.
For a reason or another I have a machine with QIC-tape drive and that machine has real ISA-bus.

But then a set back.
I don't have retail Windows install disks since 3.1 and only pre XP CD is 98SE from Compaq and it's not accepting my OHK machine.
(Only Heaven Knows)

It took me half a day, trying to bypass that install restriction, before I realized I don't need any Windows install.
(for now my take is that Google is dropping some search results other than EU persons)
All I need is DOS and that is the option in the CD, it's '98SE'-DOS.

So is short the memory.

You know, if DOS is all you need, you might be able to use DOSBOX under a modern Windows.

In this case the issue was those UV ROMs.
For now I've found >1 tube of flash ROMs so I can ditch that "high" voltage programmer.

Generally I've always dissapointed at some stage when trying those replica systems.
Like when doing Zaxxon with emulator.

For DOS,
it's still alive.
Some production systems still use it.
As it's well known by everybody and it's RT.
