There was a Tour de France with cars? Did not know that. Ferrari does, of course, because they apparently dominated it in the 50s and 60s, with cars like this 250 Tour de France (http://www.autoblog.com/2015/07/29/1956-ferrari-250-tour-de-france-could-fetch-11m-video/).

Ferrari has made a new Tour de France model, based on the F12, and it is FAST. Faster than the 488 GTB, only just over a second behind the LaFerrari at Fiorano, according to Ferrari's press release at AutoBlog (http://www.autoblog.com/2015/10/13/ferrari-f12-tdf-official/).

It's wider, lighter, has more horsepower and torque, brakes from the LaFerrari, four-wheel steering (which they're calling "Virtual Short Wheelbase"). And it looks pretty sweet.

Looks pretty cool to me. I'm not gaga over Ferrari's but I love the F12. This is cool, but the vanilla one is more elegant.

But let's talk about Ferrari naming for a second. this is the F12tdf. Not F12 TDF. Just like the standard is the F12berlinetta. No spaced, no caps. It's like someone at Ferrari sent the name in a text and the people that make it official didn't fix it.

That's an interesting problem, lets look at it from this angle:

Looks like an updated version of the 550 and 575, which were pretty great.

This looks like the kind of thing Masonry would put out. Is there seriously a winglet on the rear 3/4 window? And if this car is front engine, why is the rear window so narrow?

Because the wind tunnel said so.
