I was really hoping that someone would compile different parts of BTTF 2 but with the actual technology that we have today...would be cool.

Honestly, BTTF is the biggest time-travel Sci-fi franchise ever, kinda weird and sad that the "future" will be the "past" after tomorrow.

A guy at work was on his way in today when he saw a Delorean that was fully kitted out, with plates "FLUXN"
Cool!

Mount Isa Hoverboard Unit investigate

This morning police officers from the Mount Isa Hoverboard Unit were called to attend a traffic crash on Rodeo Drive.

A silver sedan had crashed into a power pole near the cinema.

When questioned what speed he was doing, the driver stated that he was doing 88 miles per hour.

A 17-year-old man was charged and was in possession of a licence which expired over 30 years ago.

Investigations into the vehicle and what a flux capacitor is, are ongoing.

The Mount Isa Cinema received a loss of power to the building.

Owner Jodi Saunders said the driver got out of the car and asked for a Pepsi.

“He also wanted to know when we would be playing Jaws 19,” Jodi Saunders said.

The damage to the power pole caused a power outage to the area.

Mount Isa Mayor Tony McGrady advised that the power outage caused damage to the town clock, which has stopped working.

“We have repairs underway to save the clock tower,” Mayor McGrady said.

^^ awesome.

Yesterday a long-time friend of mine replied to me on twitter after I made a comment about the Seahawks/Panthers NFL game...something about "handegg"....blah blah (she thinks she's european for some reason)....so today I posted this on twitter "Let's be honest, #BackToTheFuture is the only Sci-Fi franchise dealing with time travel that has a big following spanning generations."

She's a massive Doctor Who fan, this will really make her mad :p

If you go to Ford's website and build a Fiesta or Focus today, you can equip it with a flux capacitor for 1.21 million dollars.

I'm sad I don't understand any of these BTTF references. Never watched any of the movies.

No Fusion?

Marketing really dropped that ball.

Breaking news: Michael J Fox arrested for insider sports betting

http://stubhillnews.com/2015/10/21/michael-j-fox-arrested/

Authorities found an unusually worn copy of a sports almanac which was just recently printed and which has markings cataloging winning bets Fox has placed since the late 80’s.

2 was good, 1 was ok, but I never really liked 3. Cowboys and Westerns leave me cold.

Ban! I haven't watched any of the Star Trek films either...so ban for life?

Actually wait, I did watch "Into Darkness"...but fell asleep halfway through. Not a Trekkie at all, sorry. But if it's any consolation, I did enjoy "The Next Generation" TV series with Captain Picard. It was sort of decent. Kinda boring.

That's cool, people with fine taste and breeding all readily appreciate that the TNG Episodes and Picard were the best sci-fi series ever.

Agreed. The Star Trek movies aren't as important as the series, and IMO the new movies suffer from not having a TV series related directly to them

But you have watched Star Wars yeah?

At least three of them? The important ones? Not so much the optional prequel ones?

But of course.
