I remember a while back when Microsoft started making announcements about Windows 8, UEFI, and SecureBoot the world went NUTS. "MICROSOFT IS TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD SOON YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RUN LINUX ON YOUR COMPUTER!" I remember thinking at the time that was some crazy reactionary CRAP. In 2016, it's pretty obvious that it was. I've yet to see any PC that can't disable UEFI and SecureBoot and Linux has even started to play along with those technologies nicely.

However, these two technologies are a massive PITA. The amount of time it takes to, say, move a Windows 10 install from one drive to another drive is frustrating as hell. ZOMG, right now I just want to slit my wrists.

That is all.
