While entertaining, I hardly think a modern car is going to survive those bullets in that area of the engine/ wheel without being disabled. Waaaaaaay too many computers, CANBUS systems, etc

Wait wait wait, are you telling me that a movie-style action scene has elements which are unrealistic? OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!

I'll check it out tomorrow, really enjoyed the earlier entries in the series.

I was disappointed by that, compared to the original BMW Films.

Yeah, I thought maybe they were going to make it to be the armored version, but clearly not. Sounds of that car not so great either. Nothing will be as good as Star though.

I was disappointed by that, compared to the original BMW Films.

But only some of the originals were good, some were pretty bad also.

I'm just excited they're starting it back up again, maybe some other directors will make some cool stuff

I have the original DVD. And yeah, a few were top shelf, and the others (like Powderkeg?, the James Brown one) were shit.

This one was good but the only thing worse than Jon Bernthal was his pubic hair beard.

I liked the James Brown one personally.

Clive Owen looks kinda OLD now, but that short film was enjoyable.

That'll happen over the course of 15 years.

Some observations from me:

1. They couldn't just use YouTube to host this, could they? I can't make it fullscreen, and the video is choppy and low-res.

2. The story is kinda interesting. Looks like they used some of the locations from previous Blomkamp productions.

3. I like how some scenes build perfect tension and change beat in such a short timeframe, for example when the driver changes his mind about kidnapping the girl and turns to saving her.

4. Either the car that BMW is trying to sell is a FaF special with 16 forward gears, or the sound department was given a brief to make it sound annoying. I'm thinking the latter.

5. And finally that stack of pallets at the end, when the car drives away. It's plonked in the middle of nowhere. I have worked as both a forklift freak and in set dec, and I know exactly why they chose to put the pallets there, but it just annoys me.
