Any of you other ST (FoST or FiST) done the Octane Academy?

Just got my info in the mail last week, I wasn't aware that its completely free (short of hotel/travel) so i'm definitely thinking about doing it if I can find a weekend later this summer to squeeze it in and funds allow for it. All the reviews i've read on the ST forums are favorable, just wondering if anyone here had some first hand knowledge of it.

I got info for it last year, looked into it and was turned off by the (apparent) need to purchase liability insurance in case you wreck a car. I might be wrong on that though.
