New place, new thread.
A bit of a roll all for those with vehicles with two wheels and a motor.
Those with 4, 3!? or somtething else can do their own thread.

So me:
Ducati Diavel
A seriously black cruiser in a very modern looking style.
Throw in a 1200cc twin engine from a sportsbike and it's got the GO to backup the looks.
And the widest rear tyre on a volume bike.

I love the low seat (I'm duck legged), ride position is good for mixed riding.
First bike I've had with full electronics for ABS, traction control and even cruise control.
It tours, scratches, commutes and cruises.

I got rid of the Fireblade a few months ago. Wasn't using it much. Gave it to a mate who is keen rider but been bike-less a few years as he has been working hard on getting his business going. He is a way better rider than me, so the bike might actually get ridden as it should!

Oh hey, this place is back! Same old bikes for me. Here's me and the Ninja (http://www.flickr.com/photos/robertstory/9266321842/in/set-72157634595917769) on a trip to Idaho. Same CX500 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/robertstory/11811159295/), now it's been lowered a couple inches, new superbike bars, and just a touch louder too :)

1978 Suzuki GS550, which finally broke 14,000 miles last year. Many things should be replaced due to old age, and it has a worse power-to-weight ratio than my car.

My Italian Stallion.

2001 Ducati Monster 900.

I am eventually going to get the story wrote up on how I purchased it all and everything. Probably in time for the 1 year anniversary of the purchase.

I'll also get more files uploaded after I apply for this job...

What does this even mean? :D

It means that Ducatis are much better than Triumphs

I put that phrase into Google Translate and even they don't understand what you're saying. ;)

Thanks. I want to change the top triple and swap over to ohlins on the front to match the rear. that'll probably be what i do with my first few real checks out of school.

I'm wiggin'. :twitch:

Saturday I was going to put all sorts o' goodies on the Daytona, wash her and generally get ready for a quick jaunt down to the dealer for her 12K mile checkup and valve adjustment. But the weather up here looked ominous, it was windy and the outlook from the Weather Center app said it was going to piss rain every hour on the hour so I cancelled at one minute to midnight.

Cue an entire day of sunshine on Saturday!

Like Cam says, that app was DELETED. So now I'm sweating bullets that we're going to thrash on the bike tomorrow night in 40ish degree F weather, in the dark (well not really, we'll have a lit and heated garage but it's the principle of the thing) before riding out the next day. Always gotta be something...

Also, by venting here about literally nothing I'm giving Tyler a break from pressuring him on Facebook. Sorry Ty! :D
