There's a lot to be said about using a car regularly. Since March last year my car covered about 15 miles. That was mainly short runs to keep it moving. In November I decided to try and get it going again. After replacing the battery it was clear I had some problems.

Since then: full major fluid/filter service, new disc/pads front and rear, new wipers, brake fluid change, new radiator, coolant change, rear doors re-sealed ... and a remortgage of my house to afford it all. Most of this, aside from the service, I can put down to it sitting for months and months.

However, it's worth it. I've missed this car. The power, the handling, the gearbox, the seats. Just the driving experience and pleasure it gives me. Reminded me how much I love this car, and how much I've missed it.

List of things to carry out now:

- new rear number plate
- full shampoo of seats
- interior detail
- tracking
- mp3 head unit
