A TII with the 2-spoke steering wheel and no spoiler? Did not know that was possible.

KillerB
February 10th, 2014, 07:06 AM
The three spoke wheel and body color spoiler didn't come out until 1988. The black lip spoiler was available in 1987, but wasn't standard on the Turbo, which is admittedly kind of strange.

The 87 TIIs seem to often be oddly equipped. I looked at one several years back that had non-power steering, no A/C, the two-spoke wheel, no sunroof, but it did have the lip spoiler. It was a power rack away from being an autocrosser's dream. I ended up not buying it, not because of anything wrong with the car, but because the seller was kind of an asshole and I just didn't have time for that.

A friend of mine picked up an 87 TII years ago with out PS and 2 spoke wheel, but i believe it had ac and the sunroof. I loved driving it the few times I did.

Unfortunately it was on craiglist for $5100 just a few months ago, but a flipper bought it.

I'm partial to the 92-95 hatchbacks, followed by the 88-91 CRX, 88-91 Civic, and then these.

A few years back, my buddy passed up on a 2001 Audi S4 with 58,000 kilometers on it that was $8500 at a Volvo dealer. Either it snuck over here somehow, or somebody was really after the Euro look with the Euro spec gauge cluster and exterior mirrors.

It as gone in a few days, and listed online for $16,000.

Yeah. The 1st gen CRX was pretty great for 1984, but the 2nd gen CRX was genuinely good for a car.

and/or the cougar/vii, I think either different years used different models or different zimmer 'models'. I have never heard of a Phillips Berlina before though, I found it looking for Stutz. The only Corvette one I've ever seen is the 'Corvorado'.

I have always felt like the Zimmer has a proportion problem and where the original car meets the classic looking front bodywork, also where the trunk just looks cut off and replaced with a leather trunk. Apparently, the pinstriper also had this problem where the pinstriping ends at the front edge of the front door and then jumps over to the spare tire and up to the hood. I think the corvette based one works better because it already had a really long hood, and the tiny passenger compartment of the vette tucks in to the older styling easier. the bit of chrome that runs through the middle unites the more corvette part with the mercedes ish front, avoiding the zimmer look imo.

Before you is a 2008 Bugatti Veyron Kit car. This has been one of the coolest and most desirable cars since the first day they hit the road. Just one problem, not everyone has the 1.8 to 2.8 Million dollars to own and drive and maintain one. This one gives you all the cool looks that you can handle for a small fraction of the cost. YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH OF A ROCKSTAR YOU WILL BE DRIVING THIS. YOU WILL STOP TRAFFIC EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!!

This is a custom fiberglass body that actually sits on a 01 Mercury Cougar Chassis. You could literally take this car to your local mechanic and get it worked on with now problem. From any angle this car looks just like a Bugatti. Be prepared to turn heads wherever you go in this baby.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/231979580063?rmvSB=true

This car started as life at a car dealership on North Dakota. It was sold as new around 2000, sent to a shop and had the original 360 drive train pulled and a 472 fuel injected Hemi and race prepared automatic transmission. The 360 with 0 miles on it is included. The car has not run for years, still smells new on the inside. When it did run everything worked. Cruise control, AC, 8 Track, all like new. The MSO was lost, never titled. This car still has the original window sticker on it.

This car has been stored out doors for years. Has not been run for years but drove to where it is parked back in 2009.

I can't hate on that 260. It looks over done, but well done as well.
