Just a dumb internet quiz

http://www.buzzfeed.com/bradesposito/how-australian-are-you-actually

Best suited to people around my age judging by some of the TV shows mentioned.

96 / 117 for me, which is 82%. Ok I suppose.

I knew two out three AC/DC questions and I have used the Yellow Pages...although possibly not the same as the USA Yellow Pages.

I got 29. I'm guessing the fact that I've walked over the Harbour Bridge and seen a performance at the Opera House count against me.

Yeah a lot of crossovers to NZ, and WE own the Pavlova, not Aussie ( ;) ) but yeah.

AUSSIE: You got an Aussie score of 36 out of 117 on this list!

Thought thong meant underwear, not bloody jandals. :P

AMERI: You checked off 25 out of 100 on this list!

Heh, "jandals". That word always amuses me. But yeah, we wear thongs on our feet. I believe the Irish call them "flip-flops"? Honestly, I think they got that one right

At 6 points I'm not especially Australian, but scored 37 points on the American quiz, and am as American as Dale Earnhardt Jr's car.

I had to look "jandal" up after the V8 race in Adelaide. "Plucked it in first, gave 'er some jandal, and fuck yeah!"

49/100 You’re as American as Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 8 Budweiser car.
DEJr doesn't drive the #8 Budweiser car. :p

13/117 on the Aussie quiz, mainly due to having visited once. Haha.

My part of the world is utterly infested with kiwi cunts, and I live with one so I'm well versed on kiwi terminology. I knew what jandals were years ago, but it was literally only a week before that Adelaide race that I heard the phrase, 'give it some jandal'.

Now it is right up there with great moments in kiwi history like 'nek minnit', and 'cook me some fuckin eggs'.

I haven't been to Soundwave but I have worked for Soundwave. My company used be a contractor for them.

I got 10. But then I'm not sure if Weetbix are the same as Weetabix. So maybe I should learn to read better. Actually, wikipedia puts a hyphen in Weet-bix. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weet-Bix.

My BBQs were famous for a few years about a decade or more ago.

weetabix and weetbix are variations on the same product.
But weetbix is the aussie version. And made by a religious organisation (seventh day adventists!)

So weetAbix doesnt count towards your aussie component.

And Im outscoring some of the americans on their own quiz (although I probably was generous on my scoring - I have voted, but not in a US election)

You’re as American as a scruffy, blue-jean-wearing Bruce Springsteen standing in front of Old Glory. You are America, and you’ll fight anyone who says otherwise.
