Clinically speaking, it's an impressive technical demo.

I gotta say the in-game action of Project CARS looks wooden and the cars appear to be swivelling around a central pivot...

It will be the best (and only) Wii U driving game that even attempts realism, and the reviews by actual racers seem to be very positive with comments being very detail oriented (I forget if it was Ben Collins or the BAC Mono dev driver who's biggest comment was to "reward" the driver more for proper brake modulation after the initial hit).

Project CARS Will Reveal the Locked Power of the Wii U, Says Developer (http://news.softpedia.com/news/Project-CARS-Will-Reveal-the-Locked-Power-of-the-Wii-U-Says-Developer-415828.shtml)

Andy Tudor, the leading creative director working on Project CARS, says that despite the focus on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One his game might be best received on the Wii U from Nintendo because it will use its full hardware power.

He is quoted by NeoGAF as saying (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=748646) that, “There’s no equivalent of Project CARS on Wii U, yet we hear the shouts from Nintendo fans loud and clear that they can’t wait to get their hands on this kind of experience so we hope to make them proud with the quality of the visuals.”

The developer says Project CARS will offer the same core experience on all platforms and that Wii U players should also receive exclusive features for the second screen and the touch capabilities. Slightly Mad Studios says that its new game is designed to return the simulation genre to its roots.
