Starting with our second-annual 2.4 Hours of Daytona on July 20th, which is an open invitational, efnetsimracing will continue its format of running newer, late model cars in a Championship series over the summer. Gone is the quirky, glitchy Grand-Slam mod, and in it's place we'll be using the critically acclaimed Enduracers mod! It will include the "unofficial add-on" by Simtek, to provide more variety to the GT class.

Two classes will be featured, as the 2.4 doubles as the first race of our Sunday Sports Car Challenge--the Pro Division drivers will be in the spec LeMans Prototype cars, while Sportsmen will contest the GT2 class.

A small patch will be required, which fixes some of the EXTREME fuel usage disparity between the GT cars, most notably Simtek's BMW M3. Other minor changes, such as opening up steering lock and brake pressure adjustments, are included. Otherwise the cars are essentially as raced in the ES mod.

The opening race will be 2.4 hours, or 144 minutes. Fuel and tires will both be set at 1x, to keep strategy wide open. Every car will need multiple fuel stops. There will be no driver swaps, unlike last season, as there were too many little problems and the threat of disconnecting ruining someone's championship hopes.

After that, we head off into the Summer Series, a world-class schedule across several countries, with two more Endurace races and a variety of Sprint formats, culminating in the season finale in Brazil!

Come one, come all, whether you plan to race the full season, or just the 2.4 Hours! Remember that if you're also competing for our annual Endurance Championship, this does count towards those points, so if you're on a part-time schedule, this is a race to run!
