I had to read it a few times. I know I made some less than smart decisions when I was younger. But, damn...makes me all the more worried about my boys when they get older.

Man, five people trapped in a smashed up Prelude with three corpses. Fuuuuu.

Just can't think of any time in my life I would have ever considered getting into a car that grossly overloaded. Someone on a lap, yeah, BTDT, but two doors, two seats, two postage stamps, and eight people is madness - utter madness. Especially on a highway. I gotta believe that load was well in excess of the GVWR - it probably would have been rough to drive in the first place.

We stuffed ten people into an old '86 Mustang back in high school when my buddy and his girlfriend decided to get married. We cut school and went to City Hall. One guy driving, bride on groom's lap in the passenger seat, three guys in the back with four girls on our laps. I got the extra girl. :D

Don't know how we pulled it off, or how we got away with it, but we did.
