Finally figured out how to take screenshots while in HDR mode, without converting and such afterwards. Using the XBOX short cut (Win+Alt+Prnt Scrn). Made that combo a button on my Stream Deck.
That creates two files: One PNG converted to SDR, and one JXR HD image. Oddly Photoshop can't open JXR's, so I'll need to convert if I want it, but the PNG's will do for now. A little dark and washed out, but not nearly as bad as the other methods.

Simple question: did the game (FS 2020) get limited in its Gamepass version? After the initial launch now it seems I can only use two small airplanes and no others are to be seen in the vehicle list.

Not that I'm aware of, you should have the base level game that has something like 20 planes in it.
Do you have one of the filters selected, like "Jets" or "Turboprops"?

Question for the HOTAS users: how do you engage reverse thrust?
I’ve got a Thrustmaster T-Flight and when I throttle to zero it doesn’t go to negative, but on the Xbox pad holding B let’s it engage reverse thrust.
So what’s the secret?
-
That's honestly too advanced for me at this point, I can barely put the thing on the ground, but I'd guess I'd just map it to a button or something.
This might be handy: https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDanger...everse_thrust/

Oooh the first reply there looks like a good answer. Thanks.
Now I'll figure out how to map it that way.
-
Yeah, that might be interesting for my Saitek one actually. I don't know the right term for it, but it's got spots where it pushes back just before either extreme on the throttle. Like if you're going up and you hit about 85-90%, there's this "hump" you have to push it past to get up to 100%. That hump doesn't exist going from 100 down to 80, it's only as you head for the extremes. I could maybe map forward throttle from that hump at the lower end up to the top, then if you pull past that hump at low throttle it could engage reverse thrust.
Then again, I've got so many buttons I'm not using at the moment, it seems sub-optimal to give up that much of the throttle travel for something I'll use one time per flight in only a few aircraft.

Here Sepppophiles: world update 2 has arrived and it looking sweet.
It's unclear whether any race tracks received any attention, however.
