Good news for Aston Martin, as they've been struggling so far with the new cars and have been lobbying for a BoP break.
From what I've read it isn't enough to make up their deficit, just enough to get them closer. Basically everyone in the class got a few kg of weight taken off or added, which really shouldn't have a major effect on their pace.
I think the Aston is just a bit too blunt in the front end and has too much downforce.
You would think "Easy at T1" would be paramount at an endurance race, even more at the 24 Hours of Le Mans... sick drama right away!
Didn't anyone else chuckle a bit realizing Montoya binned it at Indianapolis?
Shame about the Astons. They're the best looking cars out there, IMO.
