It was the sound of him accelerating that sounded bad, the idle was loud enough to notice but I don't remember it sounding "bad" like the acceleration phase.
Yeah, a lot of people choose UEL for the sound, but they still get performance gains. Changing the header can open up quite a bit of power. They leave some of that power on the table with UEL.
Almost everyone I know in the PA86 Club that has changed their headers, has UELs.

Traded in the '13 BRZ for a '17 BRZ Series.Yellow. Manual transmission this time around, as it's the only way the Series.Yellow comes. The suspension already feels so much better, haven't really tried out the Brembos at all. It's also a much nicer place to be on the inside now, the interior look and materials seem far superior to the old car.
The pictures also do not do the color justice. They wash it out, it is *much* brighter in person.
