5/14 DLC - Three songs by P.O.D.
- Alive (Drop C)
- Boom (D Standard)
- Youth of the Nation (Drop C)
San Diego had a pretty good music scene going in the 90s. Not as successful as Seattle, but there were a ton of good bands. Then these twits showed up and ruined it all.

Does this bring some balance to the universe?
Yes. Yes it does.
5/21 DLC - Three royalty free songs arranged by Ubisoft note trackers
- Amazing Grace (+alt Lead, +alt Rhythm)
- Frere Jacques (+alt Lead, +alt Rhythm)
- When the Saints Go Marching In (+alt Lead)
All songs E standard. It also sounds like the three pack will be $2.99 instead of the usual $7.99, presumably since there was no licensing involved.
Realized I was so bored by it I didn't even bother to mention this week's DLC.
5/28 DLC - Three songs by 5 Seconds of Summer
- Amnesia (Lead & Rhythm DADGAD, Bass E standard)
- She Looks So Perfect (E Standard)
- She's Kinda Hot (E Standard)
Interestingly, looks like next week's DLC will be $5 for a set of guitar exercises, not songs. One of the big criticisms is that it's not a great teacher, and I definitely feel like it's more of a practice motivator than anything else, so I like the idea that they're starting to try to tackle that.
Sounds both like a good idea for learners and a great way to suck pennies from players.
I keep forgetting that non-PC players don't have access to CDLC, so this'll be the first way to get things like scales in the riff repeater.
Oh, duh, as mentioned, last week's 6/4 DLC was exercises for both guitar and bass. Exercises for fretting, string skipping, string stepping, hammer ons, and pull offs. They start a 60bpm at the first fret and slowly increase while going up the fretboard, ending on the 12th fret at 120bpm. Decent warmups, but definitely on the easy side.
6/11 DLC - Three songs by Trivium
- A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation (+ Alt. Lead, + Alt. Rhythm)
- Dying in your Arms (+ Alt. Lead)
- Pull Harder on the Strings of your Martyr (+ Alt. Lead)
All songs Drop D.
6/18 DLC - Three covers
- Joan Jett covering The Kingsmen - Louie Louie
- Nightwish covering Gary Moore - Over the Hills and Far Away
- Reel Big Fish covering A-ha - Take On Me
I think Take On Me might be the first song in the game where both the original and a cover are available. All songs E Standard.
