I did my first B Fixed oval race just now. New to the car, new to the track, so I hung back and gained confidence before stepping on it.
Got to P11 on lap 43 of 45 and was aiming for an easy top ten.
THEN MY GAME FROZE RIP RIP RIP FFFFFFFFFF

I did a couple of Crandon qualifying races. Today, I legit beat a guy with 6000+ dirt road iR. I am guessing he got it from racing iRX, because he was the only Euro driver (UK&I) in the race.
Based on the current standings, I highly doubt I will make it into the final.
Now that I did my MPR in UMP Modified, I am never touching that car again.
We jumped in and did the IMSA Endurance Series race at Daytona tonight. Myself and two of the Mimsyy boys: Joel and Harry.
It was a legit zero-effort entry. I did 10 laps of practice yesterday and one IMSA sprint this afternoon in which I came 10th: hit a wall while leaning over to turn on my fan while travelling along the speedway and lost 69 iR! I could only do the first stint because the family was coming for dinner, Harry could just sneak in the second stint before having to go out, and Joel was OK to finish.
I lined up last on the grid after failing to set a lap time. I had not turned a wheel using the endurance setup; Joel only sent it to me about 20 minutes before the start. For some reason lap 1 didn't register thanks to a brief internet drop, and lap 2 I got an off track on turn 1. I kept running until the timer finished to get some practice in.
We were all of the opinion that we are just there for the fun of it, and whatever happens, happens, who cares if we are thoroughly beaten. Time to have an enjoyable 160 minutes of racing and send it. Maybe double-stint a set of tyres to gain back that 30 seconds.
I was in P4 when I handed the car over after the first 55 minutes of fuel. We were in P3 when Harry emptied his fuel tank.
In the end Joel crossed the line in P2 with only 1x for the whole team. I'm pretty amazed.

Awesome!
That's fantastic, great work!
Thank you :)
It may have only been a 2h 40m race, but I’m still quite chuffed at our result.
And due to my study schedule, Saturday night is usually the last chance I get to devote any serious time to iRacing for the week, so it was good to round it out on a positive.
Plus we are all of the opinion that the Porsche RSR is the best car in all of sim racing, and the balance of classes in IMSA right now is the perfect venue for it.
Went from 26th to 4th today in the GT Enduro. :D
Nice work! Tsukuba?
Yes.
This is the second week in a row we've been harassed by another team about blue flags. Many drivers seem to be entitled when they are attempting to lap a car being shown the blue flag.
