If they made the Star Cards balanced (more damage negated by less health), this would be much less an issue, until a meta develops and people complain about that.
The game is actually pretty fun but there's just balance tweaks that need to be made. That would be huge for the MP. As far as I understand the SP is exactly what people want... a shooting/slicing gallery in a really pretty Star Wars world.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Geez...
Microtransactions have been removed from the game. They will turn later after further running of the earn rate/item cost.

"I know this is wrong but I just can't help myself." -EA
Well… this is unprecedented.
You push and you push and you push, and then the world bites back. This is EA’s response to that bite.
BFIII wasn’t the most egregious example of nickel-and-diming that we’ve ever seen, but it was the most visible, and it came after a run of publishers putting increasingly crappy and increasingly intrusive pay-to-win mechanics or microtransactions in their full price games this year.

2017 started with so much promise, and look at what has happened since August. Gamers are rightfully tired of it, and it needs to end.
Will be interesting to see if they bring back microtransactions for the planned cosmetic mods, or just after they think the outrage has cooled down.
Look at that user review score!

And yeah, it’s entirely possible that EA will put them back in after the heat dies down. Could cost them millions.
