Rich kid has a podium to his name. He is fast but inconsistent.
I don't see why Seb wouldn't be offered the second RB. Their young driver program is excellent, except for the young drivers involved.
Norris doing well again
And the Mercs are on another planet.
I'm beginning to think Ferrari have taken the wrong McLaren Driver. McLaren were very quick to sign him up with Ricciardo for next season so they obviously rate him highly. TBH on his showing so far this season I'd be getting him signed for 2022 & '23 as well.
What a crazy start for the Hulk and a crazy finish for Hamilton.
Max is indeed an also ran driver... couldn’t even catch up to Hamilton’s tricycle... as for the rest of the field, they should’ve all pack up and go home like Hulk and not even bother...:p
Hamilton is truly the golden boy. I think LeClerc has some of that golden boy blessing in him as well. LeClerc has no business finishing over 6th or 7th but he just keeps getting touched by angels with safety cars and other drivers having problems out of their control.
And poor Hulk...he could have surely beaten the shitty Stroll today.
Renault looking better. Couldn't care less about Ocon but I like to see Ric have a good result.
Grosjean...please remove him from F1.
I believe that Ric was on pace to take a podium today. That said, It was a fairly boring processional affair.
On the problems with the tires, I think it's been out for a while but in his Beyond The Grid episode JPM raises the issue of heavier cars being as fast as the early oughties machines; I don't think current tire technology can cope with such lateral loads, cars are 25% heavier nowadays, Brawn should take the pandemic pushback on regulations as an opportunity to try and make the cars smaller. They're way too long (for aerodynamic reasons) and teams are using too much ballast to reach the minimum weights, so it's not like the cars are bigger for safety. I believe 650 kilos is doable.
650 is easy peasy.
Would make it easier on the brakes, gearboxes, chassis and on and on.
But will it happen? Unlikely.
