Wow. That really is a well-balanced ale. Full-bodied, somewhat sweet but with just the right amount of bitterness. Nice beer-bottle brown in colour. (Comes in clear bottles which look like brown bottles if you don't notice the top of the neck).

Jameson, ginger ale, and lime.
Yamazaki Distillers Reserve.
Bell's Oberon and Two Hearted Ale.
We did a pickleback (piskey whickle?) tasting on Friday. Drank so much Jameson and so much pickle juice it was unreal. Finished with about six beers of various denomination.
Oh, wow, had a bottle of this tonight and it was AWESOME.

Restocked for a few weeks
- Beau's Festivale looks like possibly a Bockish version of Lug Tread
- Scotch Ale from Highlander Brewery - may not be exactly that one
- Church Key Holy Smoke a yummy Scotch Ale in case previous is disappointing
- And a Scarecrow in a pear tree
Oh and I had a draught Santa Paws at Bill and Troy's Excellent Taproom. Actually it was so good I had two. The Sam Roberts Band Session Ale had been disappointing, actually.
Finished off some Patrice Rion Chambolle Musigny 2008, which was AWESOME VALUE, but even that could not compete with....
... Faustino I 2001. Seriously this shit is the dog's. I am going to order at least 24 bottles.
Two Dead Guys, a Scarecrow and a Hobgoblin walked into my bar.
"Ha! Ha!", laughed the Hobgoblin, "I'm the only one here who's a living being".
"Well, actually," retorted the Scarecrow, "you're the one that's only mythical".
And the Hobgoblin vanished in a puff of logic. Which was a shame, because it's good beer.
Friend of mine bought me a bottle of Nikka Coffey Grain Whiskey from Japan...it's not half bad. It's no Lagavulin, but it'll do.
Tracked down a couple of bottles of Mikkeller's "Beer Geek Brunch Weasel" not too long ago, that's always worth the cost. Wondering if I can find a place that will cold brew that coffee for me and see if I can homebrew the beer....
