    I find it deeeeeeeeeply confusing that the car is named after what is basically a left over dinosaur, in the form of a medium sized, very slow moving, lizard, from New Zealand.

    I wondered about that too, wondering if SSC had relocated to NZ and then looked it up yesterday -
