    The week before last it was announced that the old Hummer H2 plant in Mishawaka, IN is going to be producing cars again. Mercedes is contracting with AM General(the owners of the plant) to build the R-class for export to China.

    How in THE world is that cheaper than building them in China itself, Southeast Asia or its plants in South Africa??

    Great Odin's ravens, Indiana must just be air-dropping dump trucks from low-Earth orbit filled with "incentives" to M-B...

    Fuck if I know, fuck if I care. Definitely won't be the last thing to be built there. Last I knew they were also building those MV-1 cabs. Don't think those went over too well either.

    Turns out they were already being built in AL. Moving production up here will free up production space down there. Here.
