We’ve got another stinker forecast Thursday- 44° (111F)
The thing about Adelaide is that when it gets hot we tend to have a few days in a row of it. Is it like that in Florida as well, or does it end fairly quickly in a storm?

When we were in Florida, it was (every day for a week) humidy hot all day till mid afternoon where there was a thunderstorm, then back to sun again for the rest of the day. Sometimes a night/evening storm too.
That’s a typical summer day from Jun-August.
Yep, we get more lightning in Central Florida than anywhere else in the U.S. and it all happens in the Summertime for the most part. I've had a few occasions, even one last year where I was parked outside of my apartment and it's a bit of a walk to get to my building....and there was so much lightning nearby I was afraid out of my car for about 30 minutes, it was THAT bad....like every 30-45 seconds there would be a strike right nearby.
Australia needs more sheep!
Is there a map for kangaroos?
We have between 75-100 million sheep!
They dont do sheep up the top - thats well into the tropics (and has crocs!). Cattle, water buffalo - grow sugar cane and pineapples.
That middle section is serious desert.
The kangaroo map would be nearly everywhere, just a lot less in the no sheep areas. But you will find camels in that area.
And one sealed road from top to bottom. Then its all unsealed roads off that - many with very little services. Common to see signs saying "next fuel 300km"

Yeah the middle of Australia is a big desert with not that much in it. Parts as big as some countries that are just uninhabited.
You could probably fit most of Europe into the sparsely inhabited zones
Here's a map of Australia re-projected onto Europe
