    I thought engine manufacturer should just stick with engines. What are they doing with aero stuffs? They think they're in F-1 or something?

    Now that is fricken cool.

    All the aero crap is just beyond hideous. They really need to knock this stuff off and come up with a simplified rule that will allow for beautiful looking cars.

    I wonder how well you'd be able to actually see them, but that is a cool idea. The leader lights in ALMS were one of the best innovations for watching the race live.

    Interesting concept!

    However, I can see issues with it on ovals when the 3 or 4 cars end up side by side drag racing to the finish line. How will these LED indicators show position? They better have onboard computer sensors and GPS so that the cars can know exactly where it is on the track and where it is relative to each other... and then freezes the position indicator as soon as it crosses the finish line!

    I'm sure they'll just be reporting out live timing and scoring, and it's not like they'll be used alone for official reviews.
