I've been checking out a few vids of TF2 and I remember why I was wary when it first launched: shit looks crazy.
Swords? Crazy paint jobs? Stealth? I'm not sure I want JDM-y0 manga-style kung-fu robots in my plodding Western mech combat...

Reading the details, TF2 Frontier Defense sounds identical to TF1 Frontier Defense.
Just released today. I grabbed it quick and played around on Easy. About what I expected! Pretty fun and allowed me to jump in to another Titan that I don't normally touch.
Also... prioritize the Nuke Titans.
Just left The Dome in Titanfall 2. AlanP was right, this is one of the best Single player experiences ever. The innovation on display is incredible.
Wait til you get to the time travel bit.
