I got it. Have about 4 hours in it, no clue what I'm doing yet, but it seems interesting.

Got it as a gift when I left work, sitting at home waiting for me to come home and play it.

I just finally got GTA V when it finally went on sale, so I figure I can play that while I wait for Fallout 4 to go on sale. Also, it's a Bethesda game so it usually pays to wait a little while until the big game breaking bugs are sorted.
I did just get a new video card, though, so looking forward to being able to play it with the settings up reasonably high.

I ran across some trader woman with an ox. Killed them both and looted them. Still trying to decide if that was a wise course of action in the long run, or not.

Did you kill Trashcan Carla??
There's more around, but I wouldn't kill them all. They're too useful for economy and such.

I shot the ox and it all went to shit after that.
I discovered a building that had about 6 super mutants in it. Thank god for "Ole Painless" (yes, I renamed the mini-gun, thank you J Ventura).
I haven't built a whole lot yet, nor done may quests. I'm just wandering around discoveries.
