I'm still just waiting on a console game that will let players do online races with driver changes/hand-offs, dynamic night/weather, etc, so we can do realistic endurance races.

Doesn't Project Cars have all of that? Maybe not the driver changes?
Well…
Random pubbies (those 23 other idiots online who will ram you in turn 1) ask loudly for it, then never use it because it makes the game harder.
Reminds me of when Polyphony added damage to GT5 after the same sort of people very loudly demanded it. Someone from PD commented that they ask for it, then turn it off when they realize that it makes the game more difficult.
Now, I do play PCars with random weather, but I hate it when it rains because it's not as fun
Although it makes it easy to win if you join a room with no ABS or TC and it's wet!
Totally fair. I guess I should say that rain for me is great because I love the atmosphere it can bring in a racing game. Especially Horizon 2. PCars is pretty amazing as well, but like you said, it's way harder. You really have to come prepared and have a pit strategy for it. I created a quick race the other day where the weather turned from dry to stormy... in a Mustang. Not a good idea.
Too bad about not being dynamic... I care more for dynamic weather/time when playing single player... playing online racing doesn't work out well.... the people I want to race with are usually too good, and the people that are on my level are crazy fucking 12 year olds who ride walls.
Sounds like we're about the same level Jason.
I'll be in turn 2 by then
Get that weak shit off my track
