What pissed me off the most, is when it was first being reported, the people that were being interviewed went down the "churches have no security", seeding the though that every building needs armed guards...
Again, the answer to assault rifles, is more assault rifles.
And remember, every time an incident happens, gun sales go up.
Some of them might already have them at the mega churches, church here in town that we call the Repentagon/Fort God supposedly has a volunteer force that either keeps AR type weapons at the church or brings them in with them. Found that out from my brother in law who is a US Marshal who heard from another fed officer that has family that goes there. I know thats some "he said she said" stuff but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was true.
I was at my parent's house, they were watching MSNBC which is generally fine with coverage, but they had a witness on the phone who was working at a gas station across the street.
The anchor (can't recall who) asked her it seemed like 20+ questions going so far as "how is this community going to change after this?" and B.S. like that, I'm like, lady just heard probably lots of friends and loved ones get shot/killed and you're asking her this many questions? It was really off-putting.
Just get the account of what happened and let them handle their grief, don't get all philosophical about what's going to change to get a narrative together.
Breaking News - Was this part of the Antifa revolution against Christians and conservatives?
https://secondnexus.com/news/alex-jo...piracy-theory/
Adam Lanza case is kinda understandable. Red neck supremacist attacking a black church is also somewhat understandable... Even Islamic terrorism is more understandable.
But the latest string of unsolved attacks of white attackers against country music lovers and Christians does give such conspiracies more and more believably... even if not real.
Everyone does something with some sort of motive. Am I missing something regarding the vegas shooter? Anyway, not only we don't care about gun control... we don't even care what really happened... there was a crazy man... and bunch of gun and shit happens. That's that.
I'm pretty sure somebody was hiding something in the Vegas attack.
Hope this church shooting also won't end with no guns banned and no crimes solved..., but it is increasing becoming the new norm.
President Obama couldn't ban anything and couldn't improve mental health.
Even if Trump wanted to follow in Obama's footsteps, the road block is still tremendous.
My conspiracy theory is the gun making establishment is just playing us. Let the right and left busy fighting and perhaps killing each other while they enjoy all the profits.
[edit]
okay, so this may be a domestic situation..., but 'fortunately' the mother-in-law he wish to shoot wasn't there... unfortunate for everyone else who got shot... sigh...

Uh... from wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_(United_States)
BTW, I also wish to mention that 'thoughts and prayers' are pretty much the same as 'condolences'.The Antifa movement is a conglomeration of autonomous, self-styled anti-fascist groups in the United States.[2][3][4] The salient feature of Antifa groups is their opposition to fascism by direct action.[5] They are known for their militant protest tactics, which has included property damage and physical violence.[6][7][8][2] They tend to be anti-government and anti-capitalist,[9] and they are predominantly far left and militant left,[10][5] which includes anarchists, communists and socialists.[11][12][13][14] Their stated focus is on fighting far-right and white supremacist ideologies directly, rather than on encouraging pro-left policy.[5]
Expressing my condolences does not mean that I've tried everything I could to prevent the death of your loved ones.
Condolences also don't generally involve new legislation...
We can offer condolences AND also do something to prevent avoidable tragedies. To me, they're 2 separate things.
Just because there's a failure of doing something that should've been done, doesn't mean we ought to just shut up and stop saying 'condolences'.
Now, to be fair, I'm sure no gun control law can be fool-proof. This thing could still happen even if the left gets their way.
On the flip side, this armed neighbor did also demonstrate that perhaps he saved some lives with his gun... or at least sort of stopped the guy.
This world is not all right nor all left. Together, we can go on a straight path. Please don't give up on your brothers on the other side.
Our true enemy isn't folks on the other side, but the so called 'establishment'. The 'organization' who can profit from our fights and killings...
They're removed from reality, but not entirely ignorant of history like a lot of the people on the left. The first Antifa groups were explicitly Communists, and Hammer and Sickle flags and shirts aren't exactly uncommon at Antifa rallies.
Everyone should be anti-facist, but only those who can overlook the mass executions and/or starvation that accompanied every Communist revolution (except maybe Cuba) should be Antifa.
