There was an arcade with retro games, and also games at the bar/lounge at the docks.
Get that weak shit off my track
It's on sale on xbone for $4 and I couldn't say no. I have very good memories of this game - the style, the action, the story. I remember by buddy and I camped around my computer for hours banging our heads against the perpetual instant death scenarios and the joy that came from nailing a sequence of actions on the first try. It was so different than every other game of the time - quite a revolution.
I only played a few minutes of it last night but honestly it holds up way better than I thought it would. The highly styling graphics help and the "remastering" is to good effect. I only encountered one "WTF am I supposed to now!!" moment, but it was more familiar than frustrating.
Hard to guess whether I'm enjoying it from a sense of nostalgia or because game play legitimately still good, but whatever. It's $4 and neat.
Wow, someone other than me had a 3DO?
Hells yeah! Once I saw "Road & Track's Need for Speed" game, I could never return to Ivan Stewart's IRONMAN on the Super NES.
Another 3DO owner checking in. I never had this game though. Loved me some Crash N Burn.
Crash N Burn was pretty much the only game on the system that was worth much, from what I remember. I mostly remember there being decent hardware but the controller's d-pad being next to worthless.
I had a PC.
