They say it’s an Australian exclusive box variant. The 90s were sick.
I’m pretty proud of myself.
I just cleared 150 lines and beat marathon mode in Puyo-Puyo Tetris.
I have become a god. A Tetris god.
I made it to 8th of the 99 in my last round, was feeling pretty pleased with myself.
It’s amazing how bloody good Tetris is, and we’ve been playing it for 30 years.
Some exciting news to hand for PC players.
Microsoft is launching Xbox Game Pass for PC, AND will start selling its first-party games on Steam.
Details such as pricing, etc, will be announced next week at E3.
It's too bad I bet they won't let us transfer existing licenses - the Windows Store is such a shitshow.
Well in the news report I read there was a bit of chat from Phil Spencer talking about freedom of choice for PC players. No real mention of the Epic store tho
So I’m hoping they’re at least aware of the need to transfer licenses unlike everyone’s favourite retro games hoarder Nintendo. They seem to have their finger on the pulse with this one. But I’m betting that Xbox Game Pass will be limited to the Microsoft Store.
The holy grail would be allowing owners of Xbox One games play them on PC for free, which they already do, but via Steam and Epic (and GOG and Humble etc) as well as save transfers and cross-platform play. We shall see.
I'd much rather have my games under Steam than the Windows store if only because they don't have weird, unexplained delays when downloading (and only do like 5k/sec for the first 20 minutes), and presumably they also won't go into that weird black hole of encrypted storage that prevents me from getting an accurate accounting of what's actually on my hard drive.
