Anyone here have the Nexus border crossing card?

I'm contemplating getting one. Does it result in a lot less interrogation and hassle crossing the border? I feel like I would go over to Canada a lot more if I didn't have to worry so much about getting hassled at the border. It just kinda takes the fun out of a leisurely day trip. And in a larger, hippie-dippie sense, anything that allows arbitrary borders between nations to be broken down just a little bit must be a good thing.

Give your I.D. card to the border guard
Alias says you're Jean Luc Picard, United Federation of Planets

My wife has a Nexus card. It saves her much time at border crossings and airports. There is usually a separate line for Nexus card holders and there is never anyone in it. Heck, there is even a bridge at Niagara that is for Nexus holders only. Getting Nexus status costs money and you have to go for an interview. However, it's totally worth it if you travel between the US and Canada alone regularly. The card does not help if we travel together. I say go for it.
