I only played the original demo. But that is cool to hear.

The Division 2 is free to play this week-end.
This game held my interest for the week-end, but I am not going to buy it. Combat seems awkward. My favourite load became a marksman rifle and a shotgun. I never tried crafting, because I was always getting new stuff. There is lots to do. I was a bit annoyed when the game told me there was a secret mission and that I had to go to the point to find the entrance. I got there only to discover that the game was trying to sell me DLC. Kind of underhanded, I think. There seems to be a half-assed story. I leads me to wonder if there is every an end. Any payout or resolution for all the gameplay? That would make it pretty unsatisfying.
Deleted.
It’s a looter-shooter Cam.
The story has no real purpose. It doesn't challenge you. It’s not there to make a statement.
The story only exists as a weak lattice to spread out the world to make you do more missions in order to GET MORE LOOT.
In this genre, there is only shoot, and there is only loot.
If it's like The Division, there is a story that is actually good and entertaining, but the goal is to get you to the end and keep you playing rather than to solve the problem of the overworld.
Get that weak shit off my track
I suppose I should have expected it, especially from Ubisoft. I like my RPGs to have a satisfying story. The way it was going, there wasn't one.
This is the free game with gold right now. I am giving it a go.
Start game, watch intro, get to character creation screen, get booted out because, “Service unavailable at this time.”
