Nostalgia is a difficult thing to capture and re-package for everyone to enjoy it...especially childhood nostalgia.
EP VII will have an advantage though, it doesn't necessarily has to be as good as 4-6, just a lot better than 1-3 with enough of proper references to the original trilogy...I mean Luke, Leia, Han Solo and Chewie are back for this, that's plenty of references already.
In other Star Wars news, and although I know most of you here aren't interested in theme parks like I am, it is important IMO to note that Disney just announced a massive new Star Wars themed land for Anaheim and Orlando.
