Here's your chance to make your own country. You can name it if you want, make your own laws, decide what is taxed, any/no primary language, currency etc.
You can do this however you want, fun or serious.

I'd choose 18th Century Britain and not tax tea in colonies.
Alsace. Religion is Calvinism. Primary language is Alsatian(none of that pussy ass French), secondary language is German. Primary exports will be wine, beer and Bugattis. Anything that is of a French origin will be heavily taxed. Government will be based on that of Switzerland.
