The Japanese exchange student we had a couple of years ago, used to laugh at the way Australians pronounced Subaru.
She used to sound it out, Sue Ber Roo, then laugh and then correct it.

From the Japanese Subaru ads I have found on Youtube (for example https://youtu.be/zAuVgrR_FmM?t=29) the Malaysian and Cantonese ways of pronouncing Subaru are closer to the - proper, one might think - Japanese way, than the UK/Aussie way.

The UK folk, why is there a T in Subaru Impreza when y'all say it? ImpreTza. I mean, I've heard of silent letters, but is this like, invisible letter?

It's the Brits, do you really expect anything actually proper to come from them?

That may have been what they tried to do here with "the little su-BAR-u".

Jeep DJ-5 being used for highway lawn maintenance. About the only time you'll see them nowadays is in that role. Most still look the same as they did the last time they delivered mail. This is the only one I've seen that has been painted.

Did not expect to see a Chiron out in the wild.

I have seen a couple at car shows (I'm pretty sure the local Bugatti dealer brought them out), but out on the street is pretty rad! And that color is a great look for it.

I am pretty certain this vehicle is unique in the world.

Yes, that is a Saturn wagon with a '57 Chev front and rear welded on. Daringly innovative.

Let us hope it's unique so it can't breed.
