My sister told me that in her neighborhood in Irvine, CA, one of her neighbors apparently has a rich friend who drops by in a SLR McLaren from time to time.
I told her, "If only I could have such well monied gentleman callers."

Never seen one in Oz before. When I told my mate he said he thinks it might Matthew Reilly, the author.
He has one and lives near where I saw him.
Eagle Summit 3 dr LRV, stick shift rusted to hell, still moving under its own power.
Mid 80's Nissan Maxima Wagon is very good condition.
There's loads of wildly interesting/wildly expensive cars in Irvine every Saturday morning at the local Cars and Coffee. Crazy rare/odd cars and different ones every week. The most expensive I've seen being a Jaguar D-Type... driving... under it's own power... driven into the parking lot like it was a daily driver.
I miss Irvine.
Pulled up behind some Ferrari earlier today. 612 or California I think. Sorry to say while it sounded fabulous I really didn't like the arse end. Looked absolutely massive and the lights looked cheap and tacky.
I saw a red Toyota Paseo convertible coming home from work yesterday, not exactly something one sees everyday. Maybe they hang out with the people who own the early 90s Celica and Mitsubishi 3000GT convertibles running around town.
I followed a BMW i3 on the M25 for a while yesterday. It's a strange looking thing, especially from the rear, and being kind of orange and black does it no favours. It was keeping up with most of the traffic at usual motorway speeds (85ish mph). The guy driving it looked a little uncomfortable but he seemed pretty tall and was sort of hunched over the wheel a little.
Saw an FD yesterday. First one seen outside of an autocross in a while.
