It was never sold in North America, but it's old enough now to be imported as grey market. One of the guys I race with has one. (He lives in the Seattle area.) Last week, he mused aloud about selling it. We were all like, "Uh no man, that thing will only go up in value. Hang on to it for a little while longer."

Seems like I see a McLaren every weekend when I go for a drive on a nice day. So much different than the 2+ decades it took for me to see a McLaren F1 in person (and only then a race car on display at Mid-Ohio).

Agree. A well-maintained example will increase to a fearsome value over the next decade or so.

Saw a crazy looking silver SUV yesterday from about 50yds behind. Like nothing I have seen on the road before...but my area tends to be an area where you can see pre production stuff from time to time. I never caught up to it to see any badging but it wasn't the new Bentley/Rolls offerings...seen those before. It wasn't the Hummer EV. Any ideas on any interesting new suvs out or coming out? I'd know it if I saw a pic from behind. It was largish and looked very off road capable.

Heh, I saw a McLaren GT at Publix (Grocery Store) just the other day. Had never seen one in the wild before and it looks...exactly like pictures.

Guy driving couldn't have been under 65.
