At least the Insight is better looking than the Toyota Mirai(the other fuel cell car).
Was up in Tahoe yesterday and while muscling through awful Highway 89 traffic saw an AWD Hi-Ace sitting on the side of the road. Really unexpected!
Useless without a picture, I know, but today I saw a 1959 to 1962 Corvette (side-by-side headlights) convertible going in the other direction. I only got a glimpse, but it looked as if the body was covered with surface rust, like some old rat rod. Maybe a graphic wrap, I'm thinking, or some kind of paint job to make it look like rusty steel. At first I figured it was just an very unrestored Corvette that had been parked outside for years, until I thought more about what kind of car it was.
It was on my regular commute, so maybe I'll see it again.
The tell all on what year it is on that body goes to the rear of the car and other smaller features.
'62 was the only year with the rear section that mimicked the '63.
2008 Caliber SRT4 in our complex.
Didn't even know it existed...
Spotted on the internet, not in real life, but still...um...interesting?
"General Wee"
No picture, but I saw an Ariel Atom with this license plate.
I also saw a newish Corolla with a blue California plate with a number that is WAY after when they stopped making those plates in the 80s... either they took one of the new black plates and painted it blue, or at least some of the CA Legacy plates got painted blue. The car was moving so I couldn't take a picture, but I was close enough to see that it definitely had the embossed "CALIFORNIA," and the quality of the paint was excellent - it definitely didn't look like a homemade job.
