    I realize that seeing something in a museum vs. in the wild is kinda cheating, but I thought this one was notable enough for an exception.



    Also, about 90% certain I saw Mark Webber when I was there.

    Yeah, the Petersen. Wife bought me a year membership and I work a block and a half from it, so it's become a good place to think about solutions to things that come up at work.

    If you do visit, make sure you get a vault tour. They do them three times a day and it's a $20 upsell, but it's about 2 hours of walking around in what used to be the underground parking garage that's packed with all sorts of interesting cars. They had Saddam Hussein's Mercedes 600 SEL limo down there. The big downside, they don't allow photography down there. Still totally worth it.

    Also of note, they don't have any bathrooms down there, so make sure you go before you join the tour.

    I don't know why that reminded me, but this was sitting at the tire shop when I dropped the 9-3 off for TPMS sensors.
