Yeah true, other developers are starting to stray away from that process now, like no more annual NFS etc games for a while. There's just too much detail that goes into them now.

The next Forza game will still land with DLC that was included free as part of the last game.
There is no way to reply to this comment that isn't utter eye-rolling snark.
Forza and Call of Duty have switched to a multiple developer/side-brand model, where they release a new game every year but have 2 or 3 different development houses working staggered so that they each have 2-3 years to finish the game. Makes for some weird overlap and give and take (popular modes/changes from one CoD developer are then pushed on to other developers, and silly things like "fuel use and tire wear only" setting are left in Horizon even though the game has no fuel use or tire wear model).
Get that weak shit off my track
My buddy has played the beta, driving a 4C at Brands Hatch.
Does Mick play FM games?
But whatever, I was just implying that Turn 10/Microsoft in general (and Dan Greenawalt specifically no doubt) will always analyze the data to maximize profits. #cynic
A corporation that seeks to maximise profits? NO WAY
Yeah I do
I find them to be quite enjoyable. FH3 is a great game, one of my favourites from last year.
But I don't like the cynical cash grab by publishers with their annoying DLC habits, and Microsoft is not alone in this. I almost never buy DLC unless it's ridiculously cheap, such as the FM6 Porsche pack that I scored for $6.99.
