The later versions of the F40 were a bit less racecary. Like wind down windows etc instead of slide open slots in windows.

Allowed myself to drop to "D" driver rating as I chased the level 2 "Clean Races" accomplishment (6 clean races in a row) by not qualifying and driving at the back of the pack. Brought my SR up to "S," unsurprisingly. Now working my way back up from D, and I've got to say, it's really refreshing racing against other S drivers. Such a huge difference even compared to B class, which is where I was before.

I know what you're thinking, and you're right: I shouldn't have had to drop from B to D in order to get 6 clean races in a row. Inevitably, I would be at/near the back of the pack and someone in front of me would screw up enough for me to feel like I could pass, only to have them make contact. So then I'm still finishing at the back of the pack with no qualifying time, starting over with the next race. Eventually I got to where I would just hit the brakes if someone did something crazy in front of me so I could preserve my streak.

I started doing that achievement but kept making stoopid mistakes racing myself in the races at the back of the pack, which lead to the streak being broken. Haven't had two clean races in a row yet, all cos of me. Although someone did whack me from behind on Suzuka daily race the other day, i thought he was way further back than he was.

Ha, that's exactly what I'm talking about.

"Oh, they screwed up, I can pass them..."

My preferred method is to just sit on their tail for a few laps. They’ll inevitably screw up, but I still don’t pass unless it’s 120% clean. So I sit there some more, about 5 meters off their rear bumper, until they nervously screw up again.

I swear I have the worsr SR luck ever. It seems I can never go a whole race without some knock. Most races its 2-3 times. I just can't avoid idiots or make stupid mistakes.

Anyone here used the livery uploader, after converting/editing a file to .SVG format?

My brother had a go at it but he's unfamiliar with the process and doesn't own a programme capable of doing it (he used a trial version of something, i think). Tried it in game and only the line and circles showed up, plus they got badly pixelated when fully enlarged.

Basically i want my car club logo ingame: http://southernskylines.com/phpBB3/
http://southernskylines.com/phpBB3/s...mages/logo.png (can provide the orginal size version, and a solid background version - and the Blade Runner font used to make it if need be)

If not i'll have to log back into GTPlanet for the first time in years.

I can have a look at it if you want.

From my experience, it might have to be split up (top text and bottom text) and lose the drop shadow if the file size is large enough. The shadow can be fixed by placing a copy underneath in-game, and changing its colour, but you’ll have a solid shadow, not a gradient.

Probably easiest if you put all of your assets into Dropbox for me to download.

Oh, didn't realise the shadow was there. It's not on the logo we get made into stickers, so my brother (who made it) must have put the shadow on the website version.

    Here are the original files (PNG format - click on images, then zoom in/save as on the site);

    Black text, no background

    Black text, white background

    White text, black background

White text, no background (what we use for car stickers)

Best of luck, much appreciated too.

    Here you go!

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/pwspbww2gl...inesB.svg?dl=0

Instructions: click each link, then right-click the image, save as .svg, then upload into the GT Sport decal uploader.

I started work on them before you edited your post with those larger-res files, so they go off your first example and look a wee bit taller. Had to make them from scratch!

Actually, looking closer at the links you posted, it looks like your larger size files are a bit squished, might wanna look into that...
