.NET Framework
So I looked in Programs and Features and I have .NET Framework 1.1. I downloaded the latest version (4.6.1). However, when attempting to install, I got this:
".NET Framework 4.6 or a later update is already installed on this computer."
So do I have it or not? If I do, why doesn't it show up?

Because Microsoft sucks, no doubt.

Heh, I asked a civil question.

Yes, but we know you don't really want the answer. You just want to complain about how MS has bungled something else.

I cannot believe I am actually going to answer this question, but I am.
.net 4.5/4.6 is built into Windows 10. It cannot be uninstalled, thus it does not appear in the Programs applet.

Follow up question, should the 1.1 version be there? I don't remember actually installing it.

I don't even understand how it could get there. 1.1 isn't supported past Windows 7.

It's obviously downloaded with something else. Can I remove it without anything stopping working, because as you say, it shouldn't work with Windows 10?
My printer was bought with my old computer (Windows 7), so is there any possibility it's linked to that? Did it download with an old game, Crysis maybe?
It looks to have been installed on the same day as Microsoft C++ Redistributable 2005 and Punkbuster Services (Battlefield related). So I'm guessing they all came together.
