Wow! You guys seem to plan very exotic vacations... I can only afford local and cheap destinations! Plus it's really a pain traveling with a toddler!

Anyway, my recent short Arizona vacation! Flying over AZ in an F-16! (Just a simulator )

Just so you know novi did siem reap last weekend and really enjoyed myself. A few people had suggested it was a bit ticking the 'been there' box so i wasn't sure but i really enjoyed myself. Well worth the trip.

This was what I saw last evening...

Was about 20 feet from the closest lion.
Also saw giraffes, hippos, an elephant and today a pack of wild dogs.

So after that post I got a bit close to a lion, less than a metre, as it walked up to our truck and to my seat. No door, just up high. Damn I was leaning away and holding my breath.
    Was a definite "moment"
Now on my way home after some great days in Cape Town (climbed Table Mtn!) and a day in Zimbabwe/Zambia at Victoria Falls.
But it must end, so a long flight home and start planning my next trip (maybe Indonesia in June before Darwin/Cairns in September)

Lori declared that she needs me in Alaska. Sherpa duty again in August.

Decided to pop across to Myanmar for the weekend. Yangon is awesome, and by awesome I mean that it's my new favourite city in SE Asia.
