    +1

the Ford Explorer Sport Adrenaline I posted on the car sightings thread had an ADRNLIN plate or something.

Does Wisconsin ever change their plate design?

Also I wish Indianas were still stamped and not the screen printed aluminum sheet they are currently.

Wisconsin plates have been basically the same since 1986, with minor changes in 1987, 1995 and 2000.

And agreed on the Indiana plates. Flat plates are almost all horrible-looking, but at least some states use a legible typeface for the registration numbers. Indiana uses a terrible default 3M typeface that is ugly and hard to read. So do DC, Idaho, Iowa and others - you can see the difference between those and other current US flat plates on a friend's epically thorough website here.

Carlo - I'm not usually a fan of vanity plates, but that one is ace.

I think if Indiana quit changing the stupid design every time there's a new plate to issue we'd be better off. I also don't really see why any state needs to have some special plate to show off state things.

Also apparently Indiana has Pearl Harbor Survivor plates available. Sadly I wonder how much longer they'll offer those. There can't be too many eligible for them in the entire US anymore.

I'm always tempted to get a Sheriffs Association plate with some sort of not a cop personalization on it for the Crown Vic or a DARE plate if we still had the all black ones.

Okay. I guess I'll be the one who has to ask. What does AF mean?

I'll probably palm-slap my forehead when I hear whatever obviousness it is that my tiny brain can't figure out.

I'd hate to be the guy who hit his rear bumper. Talk about road rage potential...
