Pretty crazy, I feel like the same kind of shit is going on at Savannah River Site while my state/governor just keeps letting them pile it up there.
It's the Hanford site. Place I worked at for ten years made the hoses that were used to transfer that slop.
So it's your fault.
Never had anything to do with that end of the business. I presume the liners they're using aren't holding up like they thought they would.

It read as it was only a danger to the people working with the stuff (not that that means it should be ignored)
DN, according to the state of Washington there is no immediate risk to the public. Lots of other useful info there as well.

Depends how cynically you look at things. Historically governments have been known to play down the effects of nuclear incidents... fracking... involvement in foreign coups... scandals... I guess what I'm saying is they lie a lot.
