I've been holding off on looking hard for a switch due to wanting more color choices for the Joy Cons. Any guesses as to how many differe colors they'll put out?

Ah man, who bloody knows? The possibilities are endless; just look at a list of 3DS and GBA SP models for an example of what Nintendo will potentially do.

The good part is that a pair of Joy-Con is relatively cheap (it still feels bloody weird writing Joy-Con as the plural to Joy-Con) so adding new colours to your collection isn't too hard, unless they end up releasing new colours in the core hardware and dock units.

Yeah, it's very likely they'll put out new color combos for every major first party release. Splatoon 2 alone could justify a rainbow of colors.

As someone from IGN pointed out, it's like all the 3DS/GBA special editions, except you don't have to move all of your data, games and saves over, you're just swapping out detachable controllers.

I saw some at Best Buy today. And I was very tempted. But I have no reason, really. Eventually I'll grab one. Maybe with a slight price drop and a bundle.

Wonder when Nintendo will launch a full battery pack for the Switch instead of just the Joy Cons.

I do like that yellow color though.

I want one but not bad enough to pay over retail for it.
I have yet to see a single one in stores anywhere so I'll be waiting till the hype dies and maybe that Neon Yellow is available here.

I will get one eventually. I've been holding off on a 3DS purchase forever and this will give me both home and one the go.
